WHO IS SIGMA CHI?
Originally chartered at the University of Delaware in 1992 and rechartered in 2023, the Kappa Epsilon chapter of Sigma Chi is an exemplary group of over 70 students who uphold the Fraternity's core values of friendship, justice, and learning. Our members are committed to enhancing not only their own brotherhood but also the university community. The chapter has demonstrated this by earning seven Peterson Significant Chapter Awards, the highest honor a chapter of Sigma Chi can have. Members of the Kappa Epsilon Chapter also have the opportunity to apply for the Anthony Wedo Scholarship, an alumni fund dedicated to supporting the current, active brothers of the Kappa Epsilon Chapter.
Since the Sigma Chi Fraternerity's founding in 1855 at Miami University, members have upheld these values through academic success, active philanthropic involvement, and a devoted alumni network. Our brothers are actively involved in many events on and off campus throughout the year, including social, brotherhood, IFC intramurals, philanthropy, community service, and alumni events, which allow them to create lifelong bonds with over 450 alumni and consistently give back to the community.
